ITS SHOW AND SELL
TIME
If your unit is going to sell or
thinking about selling popcorn the next 24 hours is the
time to place your order for Show and Sell.
If you are new to popcorn, Show and
Sell is the first part of the whole sale. Show and Sell
is also called a Booth Sale, where you set up a table in front
of a local store and sell popcorn to the store
patrons.
Some examples of the
stores that have welcomed Scouts are Dunkin Donuts, Quik Chek,
Loews, Wal Mart, Home Depot, bagel stores, etc (all
sites subject to the managers decision). Anyplace in your
community that has a lot of foot traffic.

There are some major projects that
we have taken on to improve the support Scouting provides
volunteer leaders. These are above and beyond the normal
operations of the Council, yet we work on these projects
as we know just how important Scouting
is.
In
order to complete these projects we need some additional
help. Direct assistance with these projects, but also to
assist with other office support that need some extra
attention as the staff has assisted with
the value-added projects. Please feel free to
forward this to friends or colleague. Youth able to be
productive in office settings are
welcome.
We
need volunteer support to:
Copy, Sort and stuff many
projects
Pack Den Meeting Made Easy
Kits
Computer assistance – data entry to
desktop/network support
File/shred/organize several areas
that have been put on hold

any portion of the times listed previsouly, please
provide what type of projects you can help with and what time
